ecoconsumers

"When you cancel your paper [telephone] bill and go paper-free, BT will purchase a native sapling to plant on your behalf in one of the Woodland Trust's protected woods."

Having switched to online billing, they sent me a (paper) letter to tell me this.

There was a story in the current bun a while ago about a boy who had written to Tony Blair to ask for practical tips on being more environmentally friendly. Blairs office replied with a few inane tips, including write/print on both sides of a piece of paper. The reply came on two sheets of A4, printed only on one side. Genius.
